"Twelve Years A Slave" it is based on an incredible true story of one man's fight for survival and freedom. In the pre-Civil War United States, Solomon Northup a free black man from upstate New York, is abducted and sold into slavery. Facing cruelty (personified by a malevolent slave owner with a unexpected kindnesses, Solomon struggles not only to stay alive, but to retain his dignity. In the twelfth year of his unforgettable odyssey, Solomon’s chance meeting with a Canadian abolitionist will forever alter his life. The film only has one star that really sticks out to me and it is Brad Pitt, it will becoming out this Christmas Dec. 27, 2013. For right now it is in limited release but it might go wider when the Oscar season arrives.
Then for next years November 11, 2014 there will be "The Secret Service" tells the story of a British secret agent who recruits and begins to train his rebellious nephew. It is based on the Marvel Icon series.
