My Best Pictures For 2014! For The Awards

Oscar Race To Best Picture!!

This will be my third year of doing this but my first year it will be on my blog! The first year I did it I had about a dozen and then the year after that I had 22. This year I have 25 so that will always be my limit, I will never go beyond that. But the thing is I just do best picture that's it. So this list will be my best picks first and then so on and so forth. I hope you enjoy!

Yep this is my number one pick but now after it is out I'm getting second thoughts about it but all I want is that Christopher Nolan finally gets his shot for best picture that's all that I will ever ask of them please...

The only one I'm very curious about see it just looks so interesting. Plus to see Steve Carell in the most dramatic role to date. This director has been trying to get best picture too but so far no luck. It could be his best chance now!!

This years A Beautiful Mind! I'm really hoping this could get it too but when a movie that has already came out that was close like this one the chances are quiet slim. But hay still hoping. James Marsh is still anew director in the game, but hey you never know... It is playing now but it will be wider release for next year.

Benedict Cumberbatch can never do no wrong of course now the movie could really, really be bad but he can always nail the part down. When I first heard of this movie being made then when I new he was going to play the part will that just made my day and my sister too. Morten Tyldum is also a new director finding his ground. The movie will be out Nov. 28th.

It's this years Zero Dark Thirty on how suspenseful it is. Gael Garcia Bernal knows how to pick his roles and he always does his best. Right now he's always doing true story's at the moment. It really has a shot. Now playing

Angelina Jolie is having an amazing year so far and it just keeps getting better but this time she will be behind the camera! It's this years Chariot Of Fire will sort of. I'm really exited about this one. It will be her second movie for directing. Comes out Christmas Day.

It's about freaking time for a film based on Martin Luther King Jr. Well I'm just really happy about that and of course it does look good. It was a long time coming too, the director is also new to the mix her name is Ava DuVernay it's her very first feature film to date! Well her first real film anyway. Out Christmas Day.

Well what can I say it's a Clint Eastwood film and he all know about him. He also has a good chance for this film but he as already made hes best picture. Out Christmas Day.

Yes keeping that tradition alive for a musical for Christmas Day!! Even thought Les Miserables came out two years ago!! Man time goes so fast. They say it has a good chance to make best picture list and I'm sure it will get hair and costumes design at least. It is also the very first Broadway Musical to be made by the company of Disney, there first musical idea was the musical Aida but then they switch it for Into The Woods so maybe if this one does good they can go back and do that one. Of course it come out Christmas Day!

But then you have Boyhood the one that has the best chance that could win it all. Can't forget 12 years in the making!! I kind of think it's this years A Tree Of Life film.

My favorite actress so that's good for me already but this has a good chance to at least get on the list. Another director Jean-Marc Vallee coming up in the mix he has another good shot at it. Out Dec. 5th.

This one came and went so fast you did not even know that it was out. It will have a good chance for acting have I hard other then that it's on my list. Now Playing. David Fincher has played the game before it could be his shot now.

It a war one epic bold and stuff it might not make it at all but just in case here it is. I do love war films if that counts. Now Playing

Another true story have not hard much if this one will make it but Jeremy Renner always does a good job. Now Playing

There is the one films that's always under the radar and this is that one. Kind of like the film The Way, Way Back. At least the story is kind of the same. Now Playing

Then there is always the crazy film that makes it on the list and this one looks so twisted but interesting at the same time. This ways one of my last minute films I put on the list. Now Playing

Yes the one western that sticks out for this year I did it just because Tommy Lee Jones can also do know wrong and Hilary Swank. Now Playing

 Well it the film that most likely will win the whole thing, but of course it's not everyone's "cup of tea." Now Playing

 One of our great directors of our time. This film could seek up anywhere in the race. It came out the first part of the year.

Another director still trying to get his best picture but I have not heard this one as much anymore. But you never know. It still could be playing somewhere.

Well I don't know about this one anymore but I think Ridley Scott did had he's time to shine back in the day. But this film still looks epic to me!! Now Playing

This years American Hustle or at least to me it has the same feel to it. For one thing this film has that I like is it has mu favorite actress in it Reese Witherspoon! Now Playing

 Yes more films about painters are coming back. I have heard a lot of great things about this one. It has a good shot. It will be out Dec. 19th.

I mostly like Tim Burton films and I know this will be one of them. If you have not seen the previews yet I saw look them up when you get a chance because, how can you not like a movie like this. Oh this is the second film for painting this year and both of them are based on true story's to. It will be out Christmas Day!

 Now here is the most curious film I really excited for on this whole list. I have saved the best for last and of course it's based on a true story. The sad thing this film could be limited. It will come out the very last day of this year.

Well I reach my limit, my limit is 25. So now if I have a few more they will be on lock-Down witch means there are still on my mind and when the film Oscar's List  comes out and if these films are on it I will still get a few more right. haha So over all there will be 30 films altogether!!

     I know I know the first two movies never made it but you never know....

One of the lime chances that a remake of a film can make the list buy hey if True Grit can make then why not this one. Oh it's called The Gambler bytheway.
