The Addams Family - Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Lurch, Grandmama, Wednesday, Pugsley and Thing are an eccentric, wealthy clan who delight in the macabre and are unaware that people find them bizarre or frightening. Can You Ever Forgive Me? -  Melissa McCarthy stars in the adaptation of the memoir Can You Ever Forgive Me?, the true story of best-selling celebrity biographer (and friend to cats) Lee Israel (McCarthy) who made her living in the 1970’s and 80’s profiling the likes of Katharine Hepburn, Tallulah Bankhead, Estee Lauder and journalist Dorothy Kilgallen. When Lee is no longer able to get published because she has fallen out of step with current tastes, she turns her art form to deception, abetted by her loyal friend Jack (Richard E. Grant).  Based on the 2008 memoir/book "Can You Ever Forgive Me?: Memoirs of a Literary Forger" by Lee Israel which was published by Simon & Schuster.  (Oct. 19, 2018)


Detective Pikachu -  Detective Pikachu is an investigator who befriends a human boy and together they solve mysteries.  This will be a live action film.  The first pic in a planned franchise.  (May 10, 2019)





Dungeons And Dragons -  Revolves around sword, sorcery, chivalry and creatures. Paramount Pictures has acquired the rights via Hasbro distribution deal.  (July 23, 2021)





G.I. Joe -  More adventures from the international co-ed force of operatives who use high-tech equipment. Originally envisioned as a third G.I.: Joe movie following the events of G.I. Joe: Retaliation, this will now be a reboot aiming for a younger audience. Simon Waters, who oversees consumer products at Hasbro Studios, said the company wants to take “a more millennial approach.”  (March 27, 2020)




The Goldfinch - A young boy loses his mother in a bombing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He survives the explosion and absconds with Fabritius’ painting, "The Goldfinch." A rich, Upper East Side family takes him in and he later reunites with his father — an alcoholic, gambling addict who takes him to Las Vegas  Based on Donna Tartt's novel.  (Oct. 11, 2019)

Kin -  Chased by a vengeful criminal (James Franco), the feds and a gang of otherworldly soldiers, a recently released ex-con (Jack Reynor) and his adopted younger brother (Myles Truitt) are forced to go on the run with a weapon of mysterious origin as their only protection.   (Aug. 31, 2018)

The Miracle Season -  Based on the inspiring true story of West High School girl's volleyball team. After the tragic death of the school's star player Caroline "Line" Found, the remaining team players must band together under the guidance of their tough-love coach in hope of winning the state championship.  (April 13, 2018)





Pet Sematary -  A family trades the city life for the country life in Maine, then discovers that they have moved near a pet cemetery that rests on an ancient burial ground. When the husband's toddler son is killed in an auto accident, the father takes the boy's body to the cemetery, where it is resurrected in demonic form. Based on the novel by Stephen King. (April 19, 2019) 





Replicas -  Centers on a scientist (Keanu Reeves) who, after a car accident kills his family, becomes obsessed with bringing them back to life. Alice Eve also is attached to play Reeves' wife.  (Aug. 24, 2018)

Shaft -  Working for the FBI, estranged from his father and determined not to be anything like him, John Shaft Jr. reluctantly enlists his father’s help to find out who killed his best friend Karim and bring down a drug-trafficking/money-laundering operation in NYC. Reboot of the 2000 film. Based on the 1971 film written by Ernest Tidyman and John D.F. Black.  (June 14, 2019)
