     The Gunman - In The Gunman, Sean Penn stars as a former special forces soldier and military contractor suffering from PTSD. He tries to reconnect with his long time love, but first must go on the run from London to Barcelona and across Europe in order to clear his name. Based on Jean-Patrick Manchette's novel The Prone Gunman. Feb. 20, 2015.

    Untitled Armored Car Project - Story revolves around a gang of individuals who pulled off an armored vault robbery worth 17 million dollars, only to then go on an unusual shopping spree. Jim Carrey plays Dave Ghantt, a military veteran and night guard at the armored car company Loomis Fargo, who serves as the ringleader of the band of thieves. Based on a Charlotte Observer newspaper article written by Jeff Diamant.     To Reach The Clouds - Centers on the life of tightrope walker Philippe Petit and his walk between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center on August 7, 1974. Based on the book/memoir by Philippe Petit. True story. Oct. 2, 2015.

    Midnight Special - A father discovers his 8-year old son has supernatural powers and the two go on run from their enemies. Nov. 25, 2015.

    The Forest - Set in the legendary Aokigahara Forest, a real-life place in Japan where people go to end their lives, The Forest tells the story of a young American woman in search of her twin sister, who has mysteriously disappeared. Despite everyone's warnings not to "stray from the path," Sara dares to enter the forest to discover the truth about her sister's fate, only to be confronted by the angry and tormented souls of the dead who now prey on anyone who crosses their paths. Based on an original idea by screenwriter David S.     Ninjago - Ninjago sees ninjas, samurais, and senseis fight side-by-side against dragons, armies of snake men, and Lord Gagmadon, an evil warlord banished to an underworld who now seeks to return to power. A big-screen adaptation of the popular Lego toy line. Sep. 23, 2016. 

    Monster High - The musical is set at Monster High and features the children of famous monsters, including Dracula, Frankenstein and the Wolfman, who undergo the trials and tribulations of high school. Based on the upcoming Mattel toy, book, animation and apparel line. Oct. 7, 2016. 

    Untitled 2016 Event Project - Universal hasn't announced any details about this project. Nov. 4, 2016. 

    Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them - 70 years before Harry Potter's adventures get underway, Newton Artemis Fido Scamander, who is a 25-year-old lowly Ministry of Magic employee, is commissioned by Augustus Worme of Obscura Books in 1918 to write a reference guide to magical beasts, which is published in 1927. Based on her book "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," which was inspired by Harry Potter's Hogwarts textbook. Nov. 18, 2016. 

    Untitled Star Wars Spin-Off Film - Said to be an origin story about Han Solo or Boba Fett. Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm announced that Star Wars: Episode VII will hit theaters in the summer of 2015 and that every summer after that will offer a Star Wars film, alternating with one of the standalone films. Spinoff to the Star Wars films. This will be a stand-alone 3D film. Dec. 16, 2016.
